How To Read A Coupon
When you look at your coupon you will see many different things written on it. At the top of the coupon it will state what kind of coupon it is. It will either be a store coupon or a manufacturer coupon. It will also state the expiration date at the top of the coupon as well. (sometimes it might be written at the bottom of the coupon too). You will also be able to see the value of the coupon, a picture of the item, and the kind of item. This coupon I have listed states that you will get $3.00 off of TWO Ban Roll On antiperspirant deodorant.
The coupon will also state any limitations to the coupon as well. This coupon states that it excludes trial and travel size. Finally and most importantly it will list the usage limit. This coupon states that you can only use 4 identical coupons per day. This means that you can only use four of this exact coupon per day.
Limit of Two Identical Coupons
What does it mean when the coupon states: Limit of 2 identical coupons per household per day? This means that you can buy 2 Schick razors and be able to use 2 of these coupons. For example, if you have six of these coupons you will need to plan on going to the store three different days to buy all six razors.
Coupon Has No Limit Stated
This coupon above doesn’t have a limited stated on it for how many you can use in one day. So with that being said if you have ten of these coupons, than you can go a head and buy ten of the products in one day. Not every coupon with have a limit per day on it. Your store may have a policy that they don’t want you using more than five “like” coupons in one transaction. But that is totally up to your store. Always check your store’s policy on couponing.
Understanding The Quantity Listed
It is important to read the coupon correctly because not every coupon is so much money off of ONE product. For instance, this coupon is $1.00 off TWO Glade products (or $0.50 off each). So, in order to use this coupon you will need to purchase two glade products not just one. The coupon will not go through if you only buy one product.
Conclusion
As you can see it is important to read each coupon. Not every one of them are identical. The last thing you want to happen is to get up to the register and begin checking out and your coupons don’t go through. Always make a list with each of the coupons you plan to use.
