Best time of the year to go shopping for your kids and save money is TAX FREE WEEKEND.
Tax free weekend starts Friday, August 5th at midnight through Sunday, August 7th 11:59pm. I always wait to go clothes and school supply shopping during this sale to save on tax. When you have three kids to shop for, that can be a savings up to $50-$75.

Plus, most stores like Walmart, Target, TJ maxx, and a few others have already put a lot of items on clearance or sale due to overstock. Companies were buying tons of product before inflation and they have to much product.
So, plan your shopping and not on save on taxes, but save in general at the store with their store sales. (Also summer items are majorly on sale, stock up for next year too).
