My Famous Southern Vanilla Banana Pudding

This recipe for banana vanilla pudding taste amazing and is super easy to make. I was able to make this in under 15 minutes. It is perfect for the holidays, work potlucks, or you family picnic.

Ingredients:

  1. 4 Cups of Milk
  2. 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar (white)
  3. 8 Tablespoons of flour
  4. 4 Egg yolks (no egg whites needed)
  5. 2 Teaspoons of Pure Vanilla
  6. 6 ripe bananas
  7. 1 box of Nilla Wafers (may want another box if you want more than just 2 layers
  8. Cool whip

Banana Pudding Directions:

  1. Layer in a pan your Nilla wafers and sliced banana. Set to the side
  2. Mix together on Medium heat (setting #7) flour, sugar, milk, vanilla, and eggs
  3. whisk together ingredients so everything mixes evenly.
  4. Continue to stir for 6-10 minutes while pudding thickens up.
  5. Once the pudding is thick, pour half on top the first layer of Nilla wafers and bananas.
  6. Repeat the layering one more time.
  7. Top with cool whip (optional) and crumbled cookie.
  8. Either serve warm or place in the fridge (until your ready to serve)
